Welcome to Someone's In The Kitchen, Walla Walla's School of Cooking. Our
mission at SITK is to provide a platform for our community and visitors to
learn principles of cooking and creative kitchen concepts, while discovering an
awareness of the tremendous agricultural bounty the Walla Walla Valley has to
offer.
Executive Chef Gene Soto, shares his 16+ years of experience as a
professional chef with classes that are designed to get you in the kitchen!
We start with demonstration and course review and progress to hands-on
work in the kitchen. Classes are finished by devouring the foods you've
learned to prepare.

A class schedule is set, however, Monday and
Saturday evenings are reserved for private parties (other
times & days available by special arrangement). Host a
bridal shower class, have a fun get together with some of
your friends, bring your employees to a team building
class, shake up the typical birthday party. The
possibilities are really endless! To schedule a private
class, contact Chef Gene.
For young and old alike, classes are designed to develop
cooking skills and introduce students to new foods and
flavors while creating fun spins on traditional favorites.
Our goal is for everything that you learn in class to be
practical and simple enough to apply at home.
In addition to cooking classes, Someone's In The Kitchen offers lunch Monday through Friday
from 11:00am to 3:00pm with a menu that changes weekly. Local, organic ingredients are used
whenever possible. No corkage fee, so please feel free to bring wine if you desire. We'll provide

Ready-to-Bake Dinners available NOW!!!
If you're short on time, but don't want to be short on great dinner, stop by the kitchen and pick up a ready-made meal! Meals are ready-to-bake and include organic salad greens and freshly made dressing.
This week's entrees: Tuscan Roasted Chicken with Market Vegetables
and
Orzo Pasta with Salmon in Citrus/Caper Sauce
Cost is $30.00 and will feed 4 to 6 people. The kitchen will be open until 6:00 for pick up. Calling ahead isn't necessary, but we'd happy to reserve a dinner for you if you give us a ring!
